Composition Book (Printable)

  Pictured: Prototype Printable, Scrap Paper versions, and quarter for size. This printable is for use as is or to up cycle some scrap paper or card stock. (Card stock paper is the sturdier choice.) If you don't have a color printer no problem! The pages will still print good and you can spice up the printable with those scrap papers you have laying around that are already in color! The as is printable cover is the green option (prototype pictured, spine has been corrected), as well as a a label and a spare to use on the book if desired. Supplies - Printable  - Glue  - Scissors - (Optional) Scrap card stock or used mail envelopes. Instructions Print and cut out your pages, cover or template, and labels as needed. (Optional step) Adding the spine to a paper scrap cover. Using the cover template glue the template to your scrap piece and cut it out. DIY Doll Poster Tutorial

Posters as featured in Junk Transformations #1 Supplies Photo Editing Software ( Gimp is an opensource free program you can use)  Image of your Choice Printer or Printing Alternatives Instructions Decide on your image to print. As an example I used NASA's Visions of the Future printable as doll posters. Find a NASA poster you like here . Save the image. Please respect IP. Don't print off things you did not make yourself and attempt to sell/claim them as your own. Open Gimp or an editing application of your choice and open the image you just saved. Find the Scale Image or Image Properties, typically this is found under the 'Image' menu. This may be located in different places in different applications and found under different names. Adjust the settings as follows. Width : 3 inches DPI : 900. The DPI adjustment is important for the small picture to show any detail when printed for doll size. Also size is subjective. I am just sharing my exact sizing for the NASA posters...

Burlap Bag Tutorial

  ( Instruction based of bags created in this video ) Material List Burlap (I purchased 2 yards and used extra to make bows) 1 Skein of Yarn Sewing Machine/Hand Sewing Darning Needle Scissors Chalk or Marking Tool  Embroidery Hoop (Optional) Dust Mask (Optional) Techniques  Back Stitch (Embroidery) Whipped Back Stitch (Embroidery)  Notes These bags are rather big, we used them to stash small toys, multiple candies so each bag could be shared among the family. These bags are not suitable for single tiny chocolate treats. It can also hold bath bombs, sticker sheets, small candy bars, small items from the 1$ impulse aisles. Instructions   Find a font you would like to use and print it off at an appropriate size. (Use the word document ruler to get an idea of the size of your numbers.)
