Supplies Needed Wood grain Peel n Stick Kitchen Liner (Amazon or your local Walmart ) Paperboard (Recycle from food/cereal boxes) Glue (I used mod podge)  Clear Contact Paper (Optional) Heavy Books/Objects for Weight Cardboard or Foam board Precision Knife and Ruler, Or some kind of paper trimmer. Instructions Attach your peel and stick to your paperboard. This may take several boxes depending on your finished floor size. Carefully cut your combined liner paperboard into small pieces. I cut my pieces 3 x 1/2 inches. Cut your cardboard to your finished floor size. My working space was 12 x 20 inches Decide on your parquetry for your floor. I went with a single herringbone pattern   Mark your floor as needed to help guide you as you glue down your pieces. The goal is to mix up your pieces to prevent a continuous pattern for a more realistic effect. Save your off cuts at the edges as you go to fill spots that need shorter pieces. As an example I used NASA's Visions of the Future printable as doll posters. Find a NASA poster you like here . Save the image. Please respect IP. Don't print off things you did not make yourself and attempt to sell/claim them as your own. Open Gimp or an editing application of your choice and open the image you just saved. I am just sharing my exact sizing for the NASA posters...

Casing - A fabric tunnel that string or elastic can be pulled/threaded through.    Hand Basting - A hand sewn stitch (running stitch) to hold fabric in place/together temporarily.    Hem - (definition from Wikipedia ) 1.  To hem a piece of cloth (in sewing), a garment worker folds up a cut edge, folds it up again, and then sews it down. The process of hemming thus completely encloses the cut edge in cloth, so that it cannot ravel. 2.  A hem is also the edge of cloth hemmed in this manner. [ Please note: For doll clothes it's bulky and impractical so when I referencing 'hemming' I typically only do 1 fold] Right Side (of fabric) - The visible 'outside' of the fabric that is meant to be seen. (This is not always the case, there are double sided fabrics and some that aren't visibly different on either side.) Wrong Side (of fabric) - The hidden 'inside' of the fabric that is not meant to be seen. (This is not always the case, there are double s...
